Allie Wins First Place in Science Fair
Allie recently won first place in her school science fair. She worked long and hard on her project about the Miracle Defrosting Tray and why some surfaces defrost things faster than others.
Congratulations Allie, we’re all very proud of you.
Watch out Washington, Here comes Allie Cooper
Allie was recently invited by her principal to go on the class trip to Washington D.C. At first she didn’t want to go. Not ever having flown or traveled very far from home, she was understandably scared. Terri and I encouraged her and went over all the cool things she would see and she decided to go. We found out who else was going and she felt a little better knowing that several of her friends were also going. It is a one week trip in June that includes a visit to the White House, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Museum, Ford Theatre, and much, much more. We’re very happy she’s going and I’m sure that it will be an experience she remembers for the rest of her life.
Allie turns 12
Last Saturday on August 30th Allie turned 12 years old. To celebrate she had several friends over on Friday night and they had dinner at Benny’s Pizza and stayed at our house all night for a slumber party. Although I didn’t get a wink of sleep they all had a great time.
