1st 3D Bow Shoot
Taylor and I went on our first 3D bow shoot yesterday (Sunday). The weather was pretty cold but we bundled up and got through it. At least it didn’t rain. We shot with Rob and Butch. I started off pretty strong but misjudged a few targets on distance and shot low and even had one complete miss. By the time the 30th target came my arm felt like jello. I finished with a score of 270 but I’m just glad I didn’t lose any arrows. Taylor did really well considering the cold weather and being bundled up in bulky snow bibs and a heavy winter coat. She shot 15 targets before she just got too cold. Mom came and picked her up. On the 15 targets she only had one miss and got a score of 97. The guys gave her a big archery medal when she turned in her score card and you’d have thought it was an Olympic gold medal. She was very proud of herself and rightfully so. All in all it was a great morning and I’m looking forward to more of them with her and Rob.
Taylor’s First Loose Tooth
Taylor has her first loose tooth. As of last night it was pretty wiggly but still firmly attached. She’s working on it though and is very excited about it.
